Thread: The Snatch

Not much of an addictive story, but how many of you have experienced "The Snatch"? Let me run this down for you, it really is quite simple. You take out your BlackBerry to check you... and BAM your phone is snatched by your wife/girlfriend/whatever and she/he says "Your at the diner table!!!" or "We are at the movies!!" or "How could you, its my moms 75th birthday!!!!"???

It happened to my last night at diner, AGAIN!

Lol. Happens to me when I'm eating breakfast

I can't say that I've actually experienced "the snatch" but I sure do get a lot of "not now" looks. That happens frequently.......very frequently in fact. Although, she is also the first to say "google this for me" whenever she wants to know something. And then it doesn't matter about "not now" anymore. Part of being a BB junkie I guess.

Same here Tersammy, I've never experienced the "snatch" but I always get the "look". And like you, I'm always asked to "check" something.

RIGHT!!!!! If I want to check something its "WTF?!?!", but if she says "Google This..." its A-OK!!!!

Its Crap!!!!

Sometimes I get the "did you just hear a word I said!?" when I'm zoned out on my BlackBerry. That could be considered addiction.

Oh, and no, I didn't hear a word. Sometimes I can play it off like I did though.
