    I ordered the same product on Amazon.com and it stayed on all of 5 minutes. Personal preference was my reason, the matte finish really takes away from the screens clarity and beauty. It does what they claim regarding glare and 95% fingerprints but I simply didn't like it at all since it is opaque, however you may not get bothered by it so give a go.
    When in doubt, pull the battery out!
