REDFLY Blackberry Support
so for those unaware of what redfly is, i know i didnt, its a sort of laptop just for your smartphone.
essentially you can sync your smartphone with it and use the larger screen and keyboard rather than your phone for surfing the web, emails, etc.
they have support for windows mobile and android right now and are working on blackberry support as a free upgrade for existing customers.
engadget is reporting that it works via either physical cable or Bluetooth, and at this point supports Bold 9000, Curve 8900, and Tour 9630, with more phones promised as they're released.
now honestly i wouldnt get one but im curious what everyone else thinks :P

Reason: Fixed Picture
Eh. I dunno. That would be for some one who uses their Blackberry for heavy emailing.
unless its free........
cool idea....but honestly......why would I surf around on my blackberry on my laptop? my bb supports my laptop, not the other way around.....
I already have rdm+, and it's sketchy at best, but at least useful
maybe i am missing something crucial here, but I can't honestly think of a good use for this program on a day to day basis....
What do the developers have to say?
Even with heavy emailing, if you have proximity to your laptop, why not just use it?
sorry...just thought of a good use....it would be a good way to get BBM on your desktop....kind of a cheat, but nonetheless

I don't even think there is a hotel that doesnt offer free wifi anymore.....plus with the cheap data options now....if you can afford data roaming, you can afford to tether your bb

This would be a tough sell for me. If your going to carry this around, why not bring a laptop?
I'm with you this one. I would just by a Netbook and a cell card.
