    Product Review - Coveroo

Everyone now a days are spending money on accessories for their Blackberry device. They want the latest and greatest to make their phone that much better then their friends phone. Well, there a product that will just blow all your friends phones away. It's called Coveroo.

Coveroo takes personal customization to a new level. They offer laser engraved battery doors for the Blackberry as well as other products. Before hand, I never heard of Coveroo until a member of BlackberryOS.com mentioned them and that I should take a look. After browsing through their website I decided to give this a try to see how our BlackberryOS.com logo would look.

inline image I got in contact with a gentlemen who answered my questions I had about the product. I'm not going to lie, I was very skeptical about how this would turn out as a final product. After many e-mails were exchanged and all my questions were answered, I made an order. I ordered one for the Storm and the Bold since the appearance between the two were going to differ. We happened to use our OLD logo the first time and I honestly was surprised that I received an e-mail from one of the ladies who was in charge of the process. She informed me that the logo was not going to look right due to the font (of the old logo) which I then sent her another quickly made image. I was still 'shocked' that instead of continuing through the process and creating the Coveroo as is, I received an e-mail as to what the problem was and suggestions to make it look better. That is definitely something you don't expect from a lot of companies. Because of that it was making my experience with Coveroo amazing.

After looking at them with the old logo and talking with Keith (the gentlemen I referred to above) I gave the new logo a try to see how that would come out. Put the order in and the very next day I had both the Storm and the Bold Coveroo at my door by 10am. Very impressed. When I looked at them I was blown away by how amazing it looked. It took my initial thought of thinking the product was not going to look great and completely turned my impression around. I remember my exact words when I saw them "oh wow". Excitedly, I removed the stock Storm battery coveroo and replaced it with my new BlackberryOS.com cover and it made it look 100x better (see picture above). Everyone I showed it to where impressed by how it looked. Unfortunately, I did not have a Bold to put the Bold one on. Even though I did not have one the Bold Coveroo came out even better! When ordering you have the option to have a luxury finish (on select models only). You can have a brushed stainless silver inlay inserted to make the logo or image stand out and give it that WOW look (see image on right)

After seeing the final product there was no debating anymore. I was sold. From the customer service I received, the e-mails to let me know about it not looking right and suggesting ideas as to how to make it look better. Their service is by far the best I have experienced with ANY company. If only Verizon could get customer service like Coveroo. They provide battery covers for the Pearl, Curve 83 series, 8800 series,Curve 8900, Bold and the Storm. With the Bold you can choose from a black, red, blue or titanium backing. The best part is that if you need to send your phone in for repair or what not you can just simply put the stock battery cover back on. Coveroo has wide selection of pre-designed images/logo you can choose from for a smaller price then it would be if you wanted to send in your own logo or design.

Now that we got a finished product and were extremely happy with not only the product but the service as well, we decided that we should provide our members with the opportunity to get their own BlackberryOS.com Coveroo. Head over to Coveroo's website (Coveroo > Home) and click the get started image. On the next screen, you will have a "category" selector. Click the "corporate logo" button and BlackberryOS.com logo is the first one. Click the image then click next and select which phone device you have.

Being a BlackberryOS.com member you get a 'special' price :

    Storm - $39.95
    Curve 8900 - $39.95
    Bold - $29.95
    Curve - $19.95
    Pearl - $19.95

This is a sure way to make your phone stand out and that much better then your friends! Coveroo is the way to go!! Who knows, maybe a few lucky people who post a picture of their coveroo would get a 2 year V.I.P subscription ; )

I'm sure they will offer the Tour model when it comes out. They can put the logo on any model they offer.

It shouldn't be anymore than $40. Might be more like the bold price though.

These are absolutely top quality. I have been using mine for about three weeks now and still looks as good as the day I got it. I really like the logo and the letters are very durable, no wear what so ever. These are worth every penny. Here is a pic of my Bold with the new BlackBerryOS Coveroo!!!

Great review and that cover for the bold looks awesome!

As I prefer my bold naked, I love that it does not change the footprint of the device yet provides pretty cool customization.

Too bad I won't be able to convince the wife of the expense
