My new Vaja Case
Hey now, I wanted to share some photos of my new Vaja Case. It came today and I'm diggin the heck out of it! Vaja said 20 days to have it made so I figured a month to get it cuz it came from Brazil but actually I placed my order on 5/4/09 so that's not bad. The case cost $100, that's with the extra $5 for the clip and $10 for some personalization on the back, plus $20 for shipping. But after I placed my order I got my hands on a promo code and contacted Vaja who was kind enough to let me apply it, so that saved me $24! Making the total on my card $96 even. Now I know many of you will say I'm retarded for spending so much on a phone case, and you're entitled to feel that way, but quality is quality and in this case you REALLY get what you pay for! These are the colors I chose, there are so many combinations to pick from, you can go to their site and actually design your own case before you even buy it which is real nice. The case fits like a glove too. Not too bulky yet very good protection. You can definitely tell it's handmade, and the leather is very soft and top notch, no cut corners here for sure. The phone fits snugly inside. The button for the right side convenience key works great, the shape is perfect. The clip is high quality, unlike many that you can just tell are not, this one is tight, it will last a long time. The personalization I picked, in honor of our wedding anniversary (Hey! How else could I get away with spending so freakin much for a phone case!!??), came out great. There was one or two letters that were a little lighter than the rest, but no big deal at all. The cover snaps on very tight. The magnet puts it in stand-by mode when you close the cover which is great for saving battery life, and immediately comes back on when opened. The flap is different than what most of us are used to but very easy to manipulate while using the phone, and when opened all the way to the back, becomes a sort of diagonal stand for when it sits on the table or nightstand. Geez, Vaja should be payin ME for this review!:deal:haha
So all in all I'd say this was very well worth the money I paid, and I work hard for my money so I do value the dollar. It's a great gift idea with the personalization feature too.
Hope you enjoyed this little review, if you have any other questions about it that I can help with, let me know and I'll try. Now if I can just get these pictures posted..........
