Last week I was browsing our BBOS store for a new bluetooth headset when I came across the Motorola Endeavor HX1. It's really amazing that this headset has been out on the market for over a year now, and still sits at the top of it's class. I've never been a big time bluetooth headset user, but figured I was in need of one after always finding myself having to pull over the car to answer a call. I needed a comfortable headset so that I could drive while talking, and not have to worry about endangering other drivers on the road.

The Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset comes with the CrystalTalk technology, which is the Moto exclusive noise-cancelling tool. This helps ensure that the Bluetooth headset will sound near-perfect in a noisy vicinity, or locations with high wind. The CrystalTalk feature is made for those typical days against the elements, but with the addition of "stealthmode," you will have the benefit of hearing crisp conversations in the noisiest places possible, proving that the bone-conduction feature of the Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth headset is really incredible. There is a con though... Well, not really a con, but more of a quality of the stealthmode when activated. Stealthmode will make your voice come across robotic like. This is warranted for how the technology can cancel out the harshest of background noise. Keep in mind that I have yet come across a time in which I needed to use the Stealthmode, as the always on CrystalTalk feature seems to do just fine for me.

The front of the Endeavor HX1 shows the distinct colors of black with silver, where a multifunction call button can be found. The key feels comfortable to press when the headset is in use. Volume of the bluetooth headset can be altered with the volume rocker which has been placed on the right of the Endeavor HX1. As the button is above the actual surface of the headset, the use of the volume rocker is especially easy and, once again, comfortable when the headset is in use. A sliding power switch is near the rocker and is another positive point to consider if you opt for the bluetooth headset.

The earpiece has a neat design which ensures a perfect fit into the ear. There is a loop which has been fastened to the rubber glazed ear bud, which has been added to make sure that the headset is in its correct position. On the slight downside, it does feel like the Motorola Endeavor HX1 is a tad too deep in your ear, but this looks like something that we've got to get used to as it's one of the only negative point about the bluetooth headset. If you feel that the headset is not comfortable or secure in your ear, then there is the option of using the thin ear hook which should do the trick. Also, extra hooks come with the headset to fit the comfort of your own ear size.

After several tests of the Moto Endeavor HX1, I found that it was very impressive with its ease-of use and astonishing sound eminence. I get complements to those I call about the clarity of my voice while using the headset.

The Endeavor HX1 headset has been designed attractively in silver and black and measures 1.85 inches in height by 0.71 inches in width and 0.47 inches in thickness. You can get the Motorola Endeavor HX1 right now in our BlackBerryOS.com Store for only $109.95 (reg $159.95), which is a great price considering the features and quality that comes with the headset. I definitely would recommend the Moto Endeavor HX1 for anyone looking to get a quality and diverse product.
