I'm Searching For file net_rim_bb_voicedialler2 ( from BB 8130 or BB 8830 ). Can anyone give me a link or something to it?

Did you use "shrink-a-os" to shrink it out...if so just plug in you BB, go to "Shrink"...select Voice Activated Dialing, and opt to "Put it Back"...run apploader, and that should do.

No I use MFI to unlock it and after that i lost that file, now i can't talk with anyone.

I put in a HELP request to see if any of "the team" here at can assist you on this. Keep an eye on this thread...you should see something from staff or our helpful members.

Honesly ur best bet is to download the main OS for either one and look for the file and transfer it to which ever phone you wants or if the file is on a certain phone you can use BBSAK to pull/copy a COD from one phone and then send it to the other. Thats the only thing i can think of. Or do a Windows Search in that file system for that specific file.

There is no file in main OS. I don't have another BB 8830 or 8130. If someone has 8830 or 8130 please use BBSAK and pull COD (net_rim_bb_voicedialler2 ) from phone. Thanks

U should go into ur carriers website and download the new Os for ur phone then look for the file and download it thru bbsak oonto ir phone

There is no net_rim_bb_voicedialler2 file in new or old OS i check them befor I post on forum. net_rim_bb_voicedialler2 file is preinstalled on 8830 or 8130.

If its pre installed on those phones then it for sure should be on the carriers OS on their respective websites.

At this point just wipe your phone and reinstall the OS from scratch. If it's not part of the official OS for the 83xx series, find an OS that has that cod and install to you computer and extract from there.

It's the same situation like with mass storage in other models of BB, when You unlock them with MFI You must run MassStorage Activator ( or run right bat file if You have one ).

Have you tried a system read of a device that has the .cod and stripped it out with BBSAK or crackutil?

I don't have a device that has .cod I have only one BB 8830 ( Post nr 7 ).

You may have a spelling error in your search. I believe the file you may be looking for is net_rim_bb_voicedialer2

I'm probably not going to be much help here, as I am not knowledgeable on what you are attempting, and the method you are using, only that my guess is that there are not two "L's" in "dialer". I hope this helps somehow.

Are you certain the COD file you are needing is the one you quoted (regardless of spelling)?

IMO it would seem to be something for VAD which shouldn't affect the phone part working or not.

Although I am using a 9530, the only COD file that comes close to what you describing is 'net_rim_bb_voice.cod'. Could that be what you are looking for?
