Thread: How to get GPS working?

im operating 4.5.0.138,

wondering as to which OS you need to operate to get the GPS to work?

I used to have an OS that let it work, but forgot when I downgraded a while back.

Can anyone give feedback, id be tremendously grateful.

Which device?

8830 world edition (VZW)

i believe there was an OS (leaked) which fixed or hacked this issue

I believe it was 168 that was leaked that took care of that issue. I will see what I can come up with and see if we cant get ya going.

There is a couple

Great post.
If you did step 1 or step2 and your GPS still can not lock onto satellites, then check the following settings.
Settings>>Phone>>Services>>Location Settings
