Thread: Would you purchase a BlackBerry 10 QWERTY Slider?

On the recent news leak about a patent that may have BlackBerry on track to release a QWERTY Slider as part of the lineup of the BlackBerry 10 family, we want to ask a question that I'm sure BlackBerry would be very much interested in the results... Would you purchase a BlackBerry 10 QWERTY Slider?

A slider is the ultimate form factor. It is the best of both worlds so long as you are willing to put up with a little extra weight and thickness.

Personally, I wouldn't.

But I do believe there is a market, albeit a smaller one, for devices like this.

Big screen and a keyboard would be a nice combo for a BlackBerry 10 device.

I see it as redundant because I'm so used to typing on glass. However, those who love to have that physical keyboard, it's a win/win to get the larger screen.

Sliders never appealed to me. But then again neither did Full Touch devices until the Z10. But I'm pretty sure I'll be steering clear of if.

Lol. Yes, with specs like that, I cant go wrong. Especially with Christmas pricing and Rogers' new hardware price match. I've played with the Z10. Next device to play around with is Q10. Then we shall see what comes out after and choose from there.

I guess I would at least seriously consider it, always loved my 9800 except for the build quality. The advantages of having a Z-like big screen for multimedia and a keyboard for the business without having to compromise any of the screen space sounds promising

Hi, I would prefer a QWERTY phone like Q10, I did have a slider phone not BlackBerry, and the connecting ribbon inside eventually jammed and needed replacing,
Too expensive phone scrapped.

i would have to see it in person i guess.. i loved my 9800, and the extra weight is fine with me.. i would defiantly be excited to see one, would it sell however? who knows i guess.. just have to wait and see!
