Thread: Going to BB10 launch.

​just wondering if anyone from BBOS is lucky enough to be attending the event. I noticed that now that the winners of the twitter contests to attend have been notified, all the tweeting has died down and no one is really talking about it. I am still pretty excited that we are at the 6 day mark and it's going to happen. I feel like it will be the event of the decade for most of us. If you are going, Congratulations! You will be part of history in the making.

JT and I will be in NYC. TwistMyMind (Shawn) will be in Toronto, and John Reid will be in London. So BlackBerryOS will have it covered!

and i'm staying home because I wasn't invited to NYC

hey Joe, what do you think the BB 10 will retail at? I will be buying it outright and am getting a bit nervous about the pricing. I am not eligible for HUP until Aug and don't want to wait.

What is your carrier? Most carriers in Canada offer "anytime upgrade" now...you just pay the 3-yr contract price + outstanding subsidy price on your current phone

From the latest leak it is 479.5 Poundsterling.
Roughly $ 750 USD
A bit pricey imho, but we shall see the official news on the 30th.

Holy cow, it's almost here .....

Hi guys. I noticed on the webcast announcement press release, they are including Jakarta and Delhi aside from the 6 original planned cities.
I am 2 hours flight from Jakarta.
They announced this a little bit too late.
But happy nonetheless to see Jakarta is finally included.
