The only thing I've heard is Thorsten saying in the BBJam Americas keynote that since SA have been loyal customers, SA will be in wave 1 of three waves of launch.
That means we will get the phone as soon as it launches, that's great

Most definitely! Nearly got my hands on a dev alpha. Sales guy at a mobile store has a co-worker who is a dev but was not working that day. :( Sales guy said the dev alpha was "awesome!"
A dev alpha is a must get smartphone, can't wait...
