Hi Andy, one thing I love about BB10 is that no other device can match the usefulness of the HUB. The new iPhone has a great new 64 bit A7 processor and M7 motion processor, fingerprint scanner, but the iPhone still doesn't have a good solution for email and multitasking.

Hi Andy,The new I phone does not have a browser that will match BB10, which is the fastest one I have used and has flash player support still very useful, and the hub, removable battery, SD card expansion, multitasking and E mail I have twelve accounts working perfectly, call quality is excellent, WI-Fri never drops connection, cellular reception is very good in low signal areas and its 4G ready for UK bands, and the quality build and Finnish is not going to get scratched/dented, I phones lack these qualities, yes owning a Blackberry I don't have a restricted OS, Apple is the one system I do not own but have been lent a few versions to try and use, as for BBM on I Phone it would be useful as family and friends are all I Phone, would I consider moving to an I Phone and give up my Z10's never, I'm staying with Blackberry despite being the odd one out, just waiting for Z30.

The 64 bit processor wont even help since the iPhone only has 1GB of RAM. Think about it. Remember when you put 4GB of RAM on XP, and it only showed 3.5GB? Theres no point of a 64 bit architecture. Plus, it add more fragmentation in the app store, devs have to find out how to make 32/64 bit apps (might even mean that they have to make multiple apps). Dont get me wrong, you do have to make a different app for Z10 vs Q10 because of the screen size, but BlackBerry helps you with that process, and ensures that they are optimized as well.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy using your BlackBerry!
Please my post if it has helped you. Much appreciated!

    I agree and disagree.

A 64-bit system, even if it has < 4GB of RAM, can map larger files to memory and also swap RAM to disk (SSD) more effectively. It's not all hype. Files are getting larger, and the ability to work with large files, such as editing a movie or an epic GarageBand project, is enable with this 64-bit architecture. 64 bit is setting up the platform for larger programs to function mobile. I

Plus, this shows Apple is already in the lead from 32 bit to 64 bit transition. Their devs will get a head start on the transition. And from what I understand, Apple has done all the work for the devs in keeping the API's, ect, in tune with a 64 bit system. It's simply about compiling the app for 64 bit.

I just hope BlackBerry has been utilizing QNX enough to show us something magical regarding the step to more powerful processors. Especially if they want to be the leader in mobile computing.
