Thread: iPhone most popular device in 2009

According to an article posted in PCmag the iPhone was the most popular mobile device in 2009, followed by the 8300 series from RIM. To read the full article head over to the following:

not to mention, that BB 9530 and 8100 Pearls were in the top 10 as well
all having something inbetween 1.5 percent and 1.2 percent each - if we would add this up to a total sum of BB it would outweigh the iPhone market share

Hmmm, let's see now. iPhone has one model on one network in the US. The 8300 is a series of a phones on a number of networks; 8330(VZW), 8320(TMO), 8310(ATT). So the fact that one phone is beating 3 phones, don't really see how the numbers are being manipulated. If anything RIM's number are inflated. IF we were to compare the iPhone vs the 8310 (both of which are on ATT), the disparity would be even larger
