Thread: What is Dump CODs on BBSAK?

well the tittle is exactly my question, any help would nice thanks in advanced

It will save all the cod's on your phone I used it when upgrading to 5.0 when my 3rd party back up failed. That way I could take the google sync back up cod and install it on the phone to get it working again

so basically its a back up of the whole phone? why would you need the 3rd party back up

The 3rd party back up creates an .alx file that tells the phone what to do with the cod's. If you dump the cod's then you would have to load each one on individually. And doing it that way does not always lead to success

ill chime in now that all the qs have been answered..

3rd party backup: goal was to help those with everyday use backup upgrade wipe normal stuff like that, basically provide a feature bbdm doesnt

dump cod: goal was more advanced user/hybrid builder type idea... an easy way for someone with a OS that wasnt out yet or from anoterh phone to dump all the files and give them to someone else to combine etc.
