Qsms: Use shortcut to create SMS
QSMS is an application created by BerryCoder that, when installed on any Blackberry running OS version 4.2 or later, allows the user to compose an SMS text message by simply hitting the “Q” button from the home screen. This is very similar to the “C” shortcut used for composing an email.
This application is very light and only takes up about 18kbs. When installed, the user must enable the shortcut by disabling the “Dial from home screen” option. Unfortunately, the Blackberry Pearl does not support this shortcut, but it can still be used by assigning it to one of the convenience keys.
QSMS is a very handy little app that makes composing a text message that much easier and quicker. Blackberry users are always looking for ways to make their experience more customized by using shortcuts and making their phone more efficient. QSMS is just another handy little tool to allow users to do just that.
