Thread: Icon missing

Hi, i need everyones who can. my on/off icon missing from my screen.i already reboot my blacberry but the icon still not appear. i am using blackberry 9700. please anyone can help me here?

Hello ch.a, welcome to BBOS.

Try hitting your BlackBerry button to bring up the menu list and making sure that you have selected 'show all' or unselected 'hide'.

Sometimes the icons are there, but they are hidden.

A similar thing happened to me once, it was in hidden folder. Have you deleted any folders/apps. What I did was back up all my Data using Desktop Manager (you could back up any Third Party apps using BBSAK) then perform a security wipe on your device. The BB will then return to its default state, then restore your data and any Third Party apps. That's what I did and I got the icon back.

If you have upgraded to OS 6, check all of your folders. Eventually you'll find the icon.
