Verizon to release Backup Assistant for BlackBerry March 9

Word on the street is that Verizon is finally releasing their backup assistant for BlackBerry smart phones. This free application saves all your contact information, phone numbers, and email addresses and gives you the ability to wirelessly restore your information. This will come in handy when you lose or replace your phone or maybe just doing an operating system upgrade.
What do you all think ? For more information you can visit their website.

I think while it answers some people's questions, it will cause new ones to pop up. IE: I switched from Verizon to Sprint, how do I get my contacts over to it?..

I think we can get ready for a new batch of questions.. :P Lol

Aside from that, I think it will help a lot who stay on Verizon..

I had this on my dumb phones in the past, and it came in handy...Very easy to use Shimmy, Just sign in and answer the questions. Piece of cake...

Look forward to this, although syncing is easy enough, this allows you to do it while your out and about.
