Thread: BerryWeather2.0 sneak peek

Hey everyone,


I wanted to share something with my family and tell you all a little about the new BerryWeather2.0!!!

BW2.0 has successfully moved from alpha to beta and shouldn't be to much longer before it's released.

For right now I'm only allowed to flash a screenie and say it's loaded with tons of new features and an upgraded user interface.

This is on my tour with 5.0.0.230 and yes the homescreen updates as well as an icon!

That looks nice!!! I bet it doesn't update on storm 2 as no other homescreen apps update :17:

that is a very familiar wallpaper...kinda looks like mine lol

well smarty pants if you knew that already then you'd probably know that with the next 9550 leak this might work for your device too. :P

Maybe we wont release it until after the next leak :lmao:

ya ive been waiting for a tour leak forever read a rumor that we might get one tomorrow but i doubt it

looks real good. i got really excited when i saw the skyline... thought it was vancouver and that they had incorporated it into the app...

does this it stay in your open app list still?
please, say it has better radar support for canada?

looks great and cant wait to try it out.

No the wallpaper is actually perth and you can find that in bbcrackmans list of wallpaper's in our media section. I'm going to start looking for a vancouver one.

Do you have BW now I have a great custom map I can post for you.

your question about the app list. Do you mean your homepage icon and or within the app switcher yes you'll find BW in both.

I can't answer that yet. However if history is any indication with an upgrade this big there more then likely will be an up charge. As with berry buzz 2.0 there was an upcharge as well as a grace period so you can be sure it's worth it for you

you guys may or my not already know this but with BW's radar feature you can also add webcam's and traffic cam's

here's a link to to try. open the camera view and click edit then cut and paste the .jpeg link and email it to your berry.

Weather Bonk - Live Weather, Forecasts, WebCams, and more on a Google Map (World ).


This is a customizable radar link you can work with as well. One of our beta testers has been working very hard to create these. I take no credit I'm just sharing with you. change the city and prov/state - 480/360(berry screen size) - find your lat/long then add that to BW.

I figured there would be was just curious... thanks sm

i wonder if they figured out how to fix the lag that a ton of the Tour users are experiencing while using the unofficial .230 build .... hopefully when 5.0 officially comes out for the Tour, something will get resolved. :1244:
