I could be wrong but I thought they meant best screen as far as picture and video quality and 2nd to Iphone in responsiveness.

you are right, but the last line i quoted was them saying in general its still 2nd as far as capacitive screens go. this is what i was getting at. they made a comparison, then claimed victory to the iPhone on 2 completely different "features". One is bigger, with higher resolution, and quality. yet the other only has responsiveness? to make it superior?!?
For an "official review" this seems a whole lot more like a comparison/ judgment on whether its "better than an iPhone"
On a similar note... Have you all not noticed that when it comes to ANY review of the latest "touchscreen" phones out there, they HAVE to compare it to the iPhone???
WHEN DID THE iPHONE BECOME INDUSTRY STANDARD????? IF I CARED ABOUT AN iPHONE SO MUCH ID GO BUY IT, INSTEAD OF A BB OR AN ANDROID....
(ok im done ranting... sorry)
I hear you man.
Since when is Android new? I believe T-Mobile has had the G1 for like a year now. There ARE quite a few Android handsets on the market right now (or upcoming) and the Moto Droid has the best screen so far.
As for saying it's second to the iPhone, what they were saying is that the responsivness of the capacitive touchscreen is a very close second to the iPhone. In other words, it's very close to being as responsive.
Im well aware of that... but if you read the wording of BOTH SENTENCES... they dont use the word "responsiveness" in their final statement..
THAT WAS THE POINT I WAS GETTING AT! they took thier initial statement and squeezed by their "all hail the iphone" line. ( i call it reading between the lines)
as far as android being out , im well aware too ... i was refering to the DROID being the newest thing out.. hence it being the latest in (released) technology so of course it will be the best screen SO FAR!
Im not looking for your approval nor you to agree... but please understand the statement i was tryin to make...
Amazing, the device has not been released yet and were already talking about the issues of this device. Lets see.... reception, camera and software glitches. Even talking about when the new OS will be out. Hmmm, sounds like a device with issues from the get go.
Hmmm, this seems like de ja vu....:haha::haha::haha:
I agree. This frustrates me too! Every single touch screen that comes out has to be compared against the iphone  Is it the standard? Its made well, but most of features have a patent on them too.
On an android note...if I were interested, I would wait for HTC with sense UI which will come out in a few months. I watched the video and it seems sweet but I am married to my BB and LOVE it! :p
