    So maybe VZW is pay Lucas a licensing fee of $70 million for use of the name. that to me would make sense. Let us know what you find.

    Actually, I think it's "Droid" that is licensed not "Android". Not that it really matters right. Android though is Google's OS which is not tied to the "DROID" marketing name for VZW. But you work there not me. LOL
