Which says a lot.. in my opinion..
I have to ask why would they even bother getting the device when they've already pre-disposed themselves to not keeping it? That honestly doesn't make any sense. They could save that money and pay a couple of car payments for me...

The purpose of this stategy is perplexing. We could all speculate as to why a company would choose to explore this avenue of customer support.
Andoid = NOT all that. My sister told me today that as a device, the BlackBerry does email well and nothing else. This is from a person with an iPhone. 10 minutes later she asked to use my phone. Her iPhone had no signal.

Google is going to be hard pressed to pull this off with the guidelines they are putting into their customers face.

I am on the "N1 bandwagon" as well but I will not actually make the purchase until 2-3 months after its release. I need to read a lot of feedbacks prior to wasting my time w/etfs or returns. I am very satisfied w/my S2 but if N1 does something "Extraordinary" then I may consider. With the S3 rumor, am hoping the two devices drop relatively close. Berry pretty much rule email service, but if we (berry)users can get a much faster web browser, I don't know if "real" berry addicts will ever cross over for sure.IMHO obviously...

So I have had about every phone known to mankind including every Blackberry, iPhone, Pre, and various Android devices. After using the Nexus one for the last few weeks this is by far the best device I have ever used. A lot of people cast dispersions on devices they have never owned or even used. Which to be honest is quite sad. I was skeptical at first about the Nexus and especially TMO but as a phone this is the best sounding phone I have ever used. I even popped in my ATT SIM card and call quality remained crystal clear. As a business owner I really heavily upon email. The device does email just fine. It worked perfectly with my server, I get push email, calendar and contact sync etc. On top of that the Snapdragon processor just puts all other phones to shame. It is a shame that google does not offer technical support but honestly how much support does VZW offer. So before knocking a device, give it a shot first instead of assuming, as assumption is the mother of all screw ups.

I'd sort of rather have the device without the Google monicker. I was looking forward to a SenseUI phone built on this hardware.
Honestly, I *really* like my Storm, it's just slow. I've used my wife's Droid, and the browsing experience is just light years ahead. Bigger screen, better resolution, better compatibility, more memory, faster processor... I'm in love with the clicky screen and messaging abilities -- I'd hate to give it up, but unless RIM can give do a lot better in a hurry, I'm gonna have a hard time resisting the pull. Web browsing is just too high a priority for me.
