    k-9 mail for android

This a mail application i have been using to takle the problem of getting my yahoo directly to my driod. This application works awesome and it is straight forward to set up. If you have been missing out on your non gmail email accounts then it's time to download this and come back to reality. It gives me access to ALL of my folders in my yahoo account. It is a free app in the market and should've come pre-installed.

I'm curious, why haven't you been able to get your Yahoo! mail on your Droid? I have AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo! setup on my MotoDroid and my girlfriends Eris.

I had that happen to me also. Yahoo! likes to tweek the settings from time to time and it causes the settings to not work for those it hasn't cut deals with, iPhone. It's always come back after about an hour or 2. I may give this app a try to see if it ever happens with it. Thanks.

I agree Watkins K-9 is a great app and is what I use on my droid as well. It handle IMAP much better than the default app and checks for email every minute which for me is important.

Every minute? Doesn't that kill your battery?
