Thread: The Google Phone is on G4 today!

I'm watching a recording of todays AOTS & it has the Google Phone in "The Loop". It will re-air at 10PM PT (and again at 1AM and probably sometime tomorrow). It hasn't been on yet, I just wanted to let everyone know ASAP!

Recording it. Hopefully they show it running and not just pics.

Hopefully they give some tech specs. I'm kind of tired of all this google/android talk and no actual specifications for the devices.

Just finished watching it. They had the Editor In Chief from ENGADGET on & if you've been following the feeds, there's really nothing new.

They're site doesn't even provide much info on the device itself in terms of tech specs. Just a bunch of hype and fluff.

I use several different Android based feeds & there really hasn't been anything "new" that I've read. Only exception is that the GSM band on the phone is compatible with T-Mobile but not AT&T. Vaporware at this point IMO.

Anyone else think it's odd that the Google Phone is not running the HTC Sense UI? Just a bad assumption on my part I guess. Also, the ROM has been nabbed and they're claiming v2.1 is Flan which I thought was going to be v3.0.

I guess we'll know in a few weeks.
