Yes it can. However, I like it but overall the typing experience on the Eris is fantastic.

I like it too, sometimes i think i've hit the button, but knowing the feedback is there reassures me that i'll know when i've actually pressed the button

Ya for me too, but I like the physical keyboard or clickscreen a little better.
