Nothing yet my friend. Seems like HTC is really keeping this one under lock and key. That being said, it has not passed FCC testing so it's going to be a bit before this is released.

Somethign I found interesting through talking with someone, the next droid released will have 1.5(or 1.6 which ever it is) unless 2.0 is released to all devices. The 2.0 is exclusive to the MOTO droid until 2.0 is released to all devices and the new android OS is released. With that said and this is just my take and my opinion I dont think the dragon/passion will be released until the next android OS is set to release again exclusive to vzw.

Interesting, I was thinking by January at the latest. I'm not a programmer but if the 2.0 SDK is out I would think the OS was available too.

Well the problem is VZW has set up with google an agreement that they will get exclusive rights to the newest OS when it drops. Last I had heard 2.0 to all devices was going to be middle to late of next year but we know how things change.

the uk sucks for phones, no droid, etc, and it takes us ages to catch up with you guys in the states.

though we do get blackberrys made in hungary (IMO the best place for em to be made)

Hmm, I have heard different Josh. A couple of websites have reported the HTC Passion will be dropping around Christmas this year. www.htcpassion.com is now live and while there is nothing really there it is VZW branded. The passion is rumored to have OS 2.0 and all indications is the 2.0 will be ready for the HTC Eris by the end of this year. Also, google is planning to release their own phone early 2010 and there is no doubt this will have 2.0.

I doubt google would be that stupid (excuse the language) to give an OS exclusive to VZW. That's not fact just my personal opinion.

Fyi the passion release was my opinion and I don't keep up on the android. And as far as they rest this is what I am being told or how it has been explained. For my sake I hope you guys are right cause it means I get ti give my regional managers shit lol. But they way vzw is explaining is that they are exclusive. Ya know what I a.y try to make a few calls or emails tom anf see if I can get something. As long as I can remember to. Will let u all know

This goes to show that it is not only Verizon that will be getting 2.0

No everyone will be getting the 2.0 just vow got it first... Like I said I am going to see what I can find out today.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Curious... from what i "hear" this supposed 2.1 is really nothing more than 2.0 with the "updates" that are supposed to drop Dec 10th. So really its just a bunch of bug fixes, so its more of a revision than a OS change to 2.1

Yes 2.1 is 2.0 with bug fixes. I have 3 emails waiting for response and I will let you all in what I find out

you sir are correct, but i thought the number was higher? Like I said I am waiting patiently for responses on my emails.. I have a feeling I am not going ot get them, but I am going to call the one person today as well
