You just have to set it correctly on the device to ensure it is working correctly.
I haven't had any issues with my exchange account on the Droid, but like you said you have to have ActiveSync installed.

Dave, or anyone else on exchange with Droid, are you able to respond to meeting requests? I have not been given the option on any sent to me, but just noticed on a couple that were sent and now outdated, that if I go back in now it does give me the option to "Accept", "Tentative", and "Decline". The ability it obviously in the OS, it's almost like there's some bug having to do with the date or calendar.....very strange....

I'm hoping that since this is an option that was intended in the current OS, that they will correct whatever bug exists and include in the rumored Dec. 11th update....

    J,

I've avoided this thread because I don't have to deal with an Exchange Server but might I suggest the way I have my e-mail accounts setup.

Have your pop accounts polled via Gmail with labels added. Then create accounts using the E-mail app as well but do not set a poll time. This way Gmail will notify you an you can then go into the E-mail app when you want to reply via that pop account. Once you open an e-mail account it pulls your e-mail so you should be good to go.

    Hope this helps.

Another thing you can do - similar to this - is let gmail handle your other accounts completely. You can receive and reply using gmail, but still show the other account address in the "From" field when you reply. Some such as verizon.net don't allow this for some reason and in that case you should use xwera's suggestion.
