Thread: Got my Droid yesterday!

I'm really impressed. One handed typing (because I have to) in portrait & landscape pretty easily. The speed is great. I spent WAY too long in the Market looking at tons of software (could use better descriptions). I've not messed with the camera yet.

Very happy so far. I still am adjusting & need to fix my contract address fields but very nice change.

It's odd because I don't like typing on my iPod touch but this doesn't bother me. With the text suggestions scrolling along the top I find it much nicer than the pop-up style of the touch and less annoying that the pop-up text options on BlackBerries too.

With the weight though, it's quite hard to type while laying in bed on my back (but it was that way with the Storm's too). :dunno:

I took the plunge tonight and moved to the dark side muahahah! Had to buy off verizons website though since none of the retail stores would do the instant rebate . Should have mine by tuesday I cant wait ! New phone to play with and a new house closing all on tuesday what fun hehe

I miss BBM but Car Home is simply freaking amazing
