So far from pictures (the limited ones out there), it appears that the trackball will be the only physical button....well, I am not counting the navigation on screen keys. It does look hot....the only thing, I wish they would change the color from that tan to something darker![]()
Trackball = turn off!
I am not a good judge since I have always liked the trackballbut like I posted earlier the trackball on the eris is only needed foe the camera. Which I like versus tapping the screen

I could forgive the trackball and color considering it will have a 1Ghz processor and Sense UI....

I can not believe we are all excited about ditching our beloved Storms. And on BlackBerryOS!!!
I played with my buddies new Droid last night. If it weren't for the fact that the darn thing is clunky (needs rounded corners) and that the slide out keyboard is a dud it would be a nice phone. I AM sold on Android--it WILL be the OS everyone will try and emulate.
Will the HTC Passion have the same or similar screen resolution? If so I want it NOW!!!

BTW--This is what I have been told is the first "spy" shot of the Passion in Verizon form. Don't know it to be true but there it is:

I wasn't even going to consider the Storm2 as an upgrade until I got to play with the Droid. All I needed do was compare the time that WeatherBug takes to update the GPS fix in Storm vs. Droid and I was sold.
As an aside, my pal downloaded some third-party apps that allowed him to tether the Droid to his laptop. I asked him to go to speedtest.net and test the connection speed. 14.2 MB per second. Wow!!! My broadband card does 2.2 MB. I fell out of my chair!

What was the name of the software & was it free?
