I'm right there with you Bryan. I think the idea behind their OS is genius cause not everyone cares for the push email. A lot of people get mesmerized by the explosive OS and the flashy UI and forget about push email. Soon enough google will have their own encrypted network and its scary to say this but I think if blackberry doesn't make major changes to their OS google will take over the number 1 spot.
I convinced my sister to buy the droid and taught her how to use it but I haven't been able to experience the sense ui on the Eris. How is the keyboard experience on the Eris in comparison to the Droid?
I have an easier time typing on the Eris than I did with the Droid (but I have also had the Eris longer and only tried the Droid in the store). But it is smooth. My only issue with it is the space bar is to far over to the left on the screen so I hit the period button a lot :pat: but I am getting better.Quote:

The reason I asked about wifi was because on storm, specs say wifi 802...etc and on eris it just says wifi capable. So that threw me off track :confused: :)

For me and what I use my phone for, Blackberry is much better option. I'm liking the S2, but liked the Tour, as well.
And, FWIW, I was very underwhelmed by the Moto Droid, aside from the screen which was lovely.
I wouldn't go as far to say the keyboard is better than the S2 but that being said, its a very good keyboard. It's predictive capabilities are far superior to the BB that's for sure. But keyboards are high subjective IMO so you really need to give it shot to see if it works for you.
I have had my Eris since Firday and I love it more every day!
Check out the article from PC World. If they do that it may be perfect. It is pretty darn good now!
