The BBOS Web site is acting odd. Sent that message without me finishing it & won't let me edit it. So here I go again.

The Verizon Web site shows 2 Droid pouches, one of them you can see that the clip does not swivel, the one with the Verizon logo on it does not show the clip. Can someone who's seen these pouches (or can easily see it at work) please tell me if the Verizon one has a swivel clip please?

X I bought the shell/holster combo at VZW today and love it. It comes with the rugged back that fits over the phone, so you can keep it in your pocket if you want. Then that whole deal slips into the belt case so you get a two for one deal. Very well made and I like that I have the option for either pocket or belt

I keep mine on a strap that goes across my lap holding my legs together (in wheelchair as I think you know) and need to also keep it dry with the Oregon rain. I also am considering the dock so do you think what you bought would fit my needs?

I just realized you are getting the Droid and since VZW sent me the Eris by mistake that is what I am rolling with now.

i didn't like the droid hardcase/holster it is a beast to get off and it won't dock with it on....also it's vertical only...won't swivel

I am having a hard time! This phone is really impressive and I didn't like the way the Droid felt in the store. I have 30 days so I will play it out and see where I go from there.

i understand...moto has more under the hood but looks and feel are half the battle...personally i love the looks and feel of the moto

Hmmm How odd. VZW messed up? I didn't know they did that.

whichever you settle on I hope you like it. Looks like you'll be upgrading OSes just like the BlackBerry days! I wonder how long before HTC puts out 2.0.

I have found a vertical pouch case much like the ones Blackberry makes on eBay. They come with a tab that you pull and it assists sliding the phone out of the case. I was using the Blackberry Tour Pocket Pouch and it fit very nicely in there, but it did not shut off the backlight like it does for the Tour..

Thanks for the input. Yeah, the one I use now for my Storm has magnets so I'll need to get a replacement.

i had a nice one i got from verizon when i had my storm but never used it....it works great with the droid. it's a brown horizontal verizon branded holster.

X, i took a look at the holster VZW had instore and it did not have a swivel.. and they said at this time that all the had for the droid.

As far as the docking station( multimedia dock) I purchased it and am very happy with it. it sets the phone upright nicely for an alarm clock view, it slides in and out quite easily. But like brian mentioned, it will not work with any case installed. But the "magnet function" of turnin on a multimedia screen is rather nice.

Thanks, are you referring to the horizontal pouch that says Verizon on it online in the accessories made for the Droid? As I said above, I noticed the other horizontal pouch w/p Verizon's logo didn't swivel. Thanks again.

they showed me a horizontal pouch, but i think it had a Moto Logo on it. It had just a clip. no swivel, so i handed it back to em.
