The following is listed on the "Details" tab for the Droid on VZW "Phonebook capacity dependent upon optional removable memory". This is odd... sounds like contact info is on the SD card. Maybe the info is wrong.

I believe this is wrong aswell ... Ive been pushing all my media over to the sd card from my 8g from the S1. I have not seen any file structure on the card that would support this claim.Originally Posted by xwera43
Also i downloaded that astro filemanager app. It lets you browse the entire filesystem. I believe i saw a folder in SYSTEM that contained contacts.
