killed my first Droid! !!!!

So my droid kept restarting on me yesterday then last night got stuck on the splash screen. The people at vzw were amazed I crashed one in under 24 hours so I will see how this one does but I love the phone so far

Seems to be problem I have been reading about. Mine crashed a bunch last night but so far so good today.

Yeah I believe the OS is Linux based. From what I have read seems to be a fault video card. Don't think it has anything to do with the OS

It kept crashing all day long finally I got tired of it when it froze up for like 10 minutes during a phone call. When to VZW and exchanged and all seems fine for now.

Thanks for the update. Hope it's not too common. Have you heard about very many problems with the Droid J?

From what I have read thus far not too many. Seems that a few others were also having the reboot and freezing issues that I had. But per usual VZW was very cool and just exchanged it without a hassle. Also the problem I was having with IMAP is gone with the exchanged device. Being a BB user most of my life I have to say that I quite pleased with this device. Much more than I anticipated.
