Who cares about suretype! Look at all the other options you have :lmao:
I thought that was just qwerty??? SureType is 2 letters per key???? or am I way off?![]()

I went to the Web site & there were two key screen shots and the app itself increases the size of the keys a bit too.
Don't have my Droid yet but if you Google "Better Keyboard" I think it can be bought & installed via their Web site.
One cool thing I saw in another video (I think it was a different video) was that you can swipe right to display Alt keys then left to go back to letters.

The video doesn't show the SureType. But it is one of the options.
And yes. It is the compact qwerty with 2 letters per key.

Just read that those with the Droid can actually DL two files and they will have the HTC keyboard as well. But I don't feel like bricking the phone after day 2
That's pretty neat.
From what I understand (and I could be wrong) the HTC has the option to do compact qwerty.

What the heck I installed the two apk files and voila HTC keyboard on the Droid. Worked well in portrait but in landscape it didn't expand to cover the width of the screen. Definitely a more accurate typing experience but that bug kind of annoyed me. I'm sure there will be updates to this that fix this.

Crap, I uninstalled before I tested that out.
It was definitely more accurate no doubt about it. The problem is the files have not been update for 2.0. I think the files are for 1.5 or 1.6
The link to get started is below. However, the two files you need are on another site which I forgot. But you can google them and find them easily.

That being said there is a paid app called better keyboard for the Droid that works really well
