    Two part question...

    1. Can you call a # if it's typed in a text field?

    2. Can you click links typed in text fields?

Thanks for the e-mail HTML answer.

Good point Josh, no it is not world capable. Big bummer for international business users.

So I played with both moto and htc and wasn't really impressed. Just made me appreciate my storm more. But...I may have needed more time spent with them. Moto..no call button is just ridiculous. Well...the one I played with, was choppy. I killed apps to see if that helps and just didn't feel right for me. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I feel like its another iphone packed with stuff, that has a phone function in addition...instead of being a phone packed with features. Just my opinion...

so far i cannot find any cut/paste on here...maybe i'm missing it or maybe it's not here

i'm trying to find a way to hide unwanted icons...like visual voicemail and so far i haven't been able i'm pretty sure they can't be deleted but i'd at least like to hide them or tuck them into a folder....i'm still trying

    of course no BBM

i'm sure i will run across some more but right now that's about it...

    Droid Thoughts

Today I took back my Storm 2 and picked up the Droid and I am so glad I did. Within 5 minutes of using the Droid, I knew that it was going home with me today.

The screen is big and truely impressive. The look of the Droid reminds me of my LG Dare, which I really liked. I was worried about it not being pocketable, but the thinness of the phone makes for a good fit. I have yet to come across any lag with the OS except for the camera. Think back to the original Storm when it came out and how long it took the camera to load. That's how the Droid feels to me. The Droid transitions very well from app to app and from portrait to landscape mode. The speed of the browser is really fast, puts any Blackberry I have used to shame. It is refreshing to being able to customize my phone after being stuck in boringness of the Blackberry OS for so long.

Now lets talk about that slide out keyboard. It does feel cramped at first, but the more I use it, the better and faster I become. I hardly use that keyboard, because the touch keyboard more than capable and is one of the best that I have ever used. It puts the Storm 2 to shame.

I was amazed at all the wonderful apps available. I just looked at the free ones today and still did not get through all of them. I guess thats what happens when you have over 12,000 apps to choose from.

Lastly one of the coolest things that I like about the Droid is the Droid ringtone. I know that its cheesey, I just love whenever I get a text my phone says, "Droid!"

Hey man im curious on what your charging it with???

I used my BB storm Wall charger to charge mine last night and it charged up quite quikly.
I've also used an LG wall charger and got the same results.
Today though i picked up the "Multimedia Dock", and ive had it plugged into my PC for about an hour, and ive charged 10%. I swapped back to the wall charger, and in the last 10 min ive charged it 20% MORE...
I know that my Storm charged the same either PC or wall, so the USB power output shouldnt be an issue.

Are you using the the charger that came with it, another micro usb charger or your PC?

Has ANYONE ELSE had slow charging issues?

Since it doesn't come with memo or tasks app (or so I've read, correct me if I'm wrong) did you find a memo app you'd suggest & if so what is it?

Also, were you able to figure out cut & paste yet?

    Thanks again Cat!
