Someone mentioned they are getting this device for multimedia. You will be disappointed in the following respect. At the moment there is no way to sync videos or pictures to your phone from your PC except through the SD Card, very annoying.

So the video is pretty accurate. First off there is no way to set Gmail sync times. It's supposed to be push but as you saw from Sal's video that is hardly the case. The email client on the Droid is on par with the iPhone frustrating. I spent most of my time refreshing email in order to get it. For me that is a deal breaker because I need instant email for others this may not be the case. But I timed how long it took for Gmail to arrive. Storm 2: 10 seconds. Droid: 5 minutes 25 seconds

Wow just confirmed it takes over 5 minutes for gmail. I didn't care about the other emails being poll only, but I rely on gmail to be instant. This is a deal breaker for me I guess S2 here I come

Yeah I have come to rely on the instant email, so instant I get it on my berry before my outlook. I dont think I could live with that delay.

Well, it has been advertised that only Google Mail and Exchange would be push mail, and all others set to pull. But the fact that it takes over 5 minutes for a Gmail account to receive email is pretty interesting. BUT in the grand scheme of things is 5 minutes THAT critical?
