Yeah I have come to rely on the instant email, so instant I get it on my berry before my outlook. I dont think I could live with that delay.

maybe that is something they are fixing in the 2.1 release they are working on i have no idea if that would effect anything as in if that is something they can fix...im new to the smart phone world so i have no clue just an idea
Well, it has been advertised that only Google Mail and Exchange would be push mail, and all others set to pull. But the fact that it takes over 5 minutes for a Gmail account to receive email is pretty interesting. BUT in the grand scheme of things is 5 minutes THAT critical?
Here's a screen grab of the email when it arrived. Notice the time it was received was 3:31, while the current time on the phone was 3:38. Considering the video was less than 7 minutes long...hmmmm...
It looks as if his GMail settings on the Droid are off. And in the immortal words of Forrest, "That's all I've got to say about that".
Well I called Verizon to order the S2 but couldn't bring myself to do itit is just the same old BlackBerry with a new name. I need something new and challenging to play with so I stuck with the Droid.
i'd like to officially squash this bull crap.....10 seconds to receive a gmail

drag and drop is the easiest way IMO...i have always put media on my storm with this method.
i'm getting my gmails in 10 seconds....something must not have been set properly...however i didn't do anything special in the way of settings on mine...and i'm running off 3g,not wifi

As long as exchange email isn't a problem, then I'm still on board with going with the droid....gotta have my business email, otherwise I will no longer have a funding source for all my toys....:laugh2:
