Thread: Discuss the Official OS v7.1.0.694 for your Bold 9900 from AT&T

Well that took forever, but AT&T has finally decided to give its BlackBerry users some 7.1 love. They have approved and released v7.1.0.694 for the Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860. I personally cannot wait to try it out so let us know what you find in these new OS versions below!

this is the best version.. memory, battery etc working good...

Appears to be working well, but whatever you do...do NOT do an OTA upgrade. I did and it was a nightmare, had to wipe and reinstall to recover from a botched OTA upgrade that hung on backing up "Social Feeds". Once you start the OTA upgrade and it hangs, there is no way to cancel/terminate it on the device. Battery pull resturns to where it left off before and hangs again. Downloaded full version from AT&T, installed via Desktop Software and disabled the backup and encryption options.
