    Hello jameshawk1983, and welcome to

    Leaked OS are worth downloading, but it's recommended to download and install the Official OS if it is available, which most likely, they are, and these OS won't nuke your device, provided you properly installed it.

    I will provide you the link for your BlackBerry Bold 9900 below;

    If you have any further questions, please post them below.

    Thank you.

    As grim stated above installing a leaked OS is worth it. One thing that you need to keep in mind when downloading a "leaked" version of the BlackBerry OS is that RIM will not offer support on it if you have some issues that require their involvement. Its pretty easy to revert back to your previous OS, but its always good to know just in case.

    Another thing to note is that a leaked OS is pretty much identical to an official OS anyways. A leaked OS is almost always leaked from a carrier during carrier testing. At that point the OS has already been handed off to the carriers from RIM. Carriers can choose to add a few carrier specific apps, usually they don't since they can do this OTA. You'll notice you get different apps if you use different SIM cards. Sometimes carriers remove certain features, although those can pretty much always be put back into the OS with the right files.
