I updated yesterday and it runs perfect so far. But I notice the device analizer and blackberry maps are gone. Try to download bb maps from bb.com and this is the msg that I got "Notice
Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps." :'( Any idea where I could get BB Maps?

Ok, hello everyone at BlackBerryOS.com, after spending some serious time with Official OS7.1.0.523 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, I would like to share with you what I have done today.
- Always back up your BlackBerry device with DM Desktop Manager Software for PC version 7.0.0
- Back up your third party applications via BBSAK, or BBHTool.
- Back up any specific or all .COD files via BBHTool (preferred) if you wish (I highly recommend you backup at least the .COD files for BlackBerry Device Analyzer (I'll get to that part below).
- Once everything has been backed up, and you feel confident, wipe your BlackBerry device.
- Wiping your device will completely wipe everything permanently.
- Your SD micro card will not be affected by wiping your BlackBerry device.
I have taken several screen shots, so I have tried to make this as simple as possible.
I am aware that BlackBerry Device Analyzer is missing from OS7.1.0.523, but I have the solution below.
Using BBHTool, save the selected .COD files from your BlackBerry connected device, look for these 4 .COD files.
This screen shot shows you I have made a new folder on my desktop, which contains all 4 .COD files for the BlackBerry Device Analyzer feature, which were copied over from BBHTool.

Return back to BBHTool, and click Install.
A pop up window will appear, search for the 4 .COD files, and attach them to install to your connected device.
Your BlackBerry will reboot upon successful installation of these 4 .COD files.
Go to Options>Device>Advanced System Settings>BlackBerry Device Analyzer
Here are some other screen shots I have taken to share with you.
As you can see below, a new feature exists called Application Resource Monitor.
The other previous OS features are included, such as;
Battery Saving Mode
Media Server
Parental Controls
Mobile Hotspot

However, if you're having a hard time doing the steps using BBH-Tool, you can try to use the below steps:
- Do the usual update, if you're unfamiliar with it, check All In One Guide - How To Upgrade Your Device - with Pictures & Videos
- After that, since BlackBerry Device Analyzer is not showing in this build although it was listed when you do the upgrade, try to use the attached file below which was provided by grimreaper
- Save it to your desktop and extract it using WinZip or WinRar, copy the file to the Memory Card
- The most simple way to install this feature is to click on the (OTA) .jad file or you can use (DM) Desktop Manager by installing the (Desktop) .alx file or via (JavaLoader) .bat file for those who wish to choose that way.
- Look for the (OTA) .jad file, and from there you will be able to download BlackBerry Device Analyzer.
- This is the latest version of BBDA.
- And that's it! You will see the BlackBerry Device Analyzer feature under Options> Device> Advanced System Settings> BlackBerry Device Analyzer

It's funny even through Application Loader Wizard shows BlackBerry Device Analyzer below, it never showed up after the OS was completely installed.At least there are solution's to this issue, not like OS7.1.0.437X_X

i have the same issue like grimreaper , In the bb desk top , under the application shows i have the BlackBerry Device Analyzer . In the bb9900 under the application management also show i have the BlackBerry Device Analyzer. But in the advance system setting didnt show this BlackBerry Device Analyzer............any solution to this ?

I did exactly as described above: Backup with DM, backed up Third Party apps with BBHTooL, wiped my device with BBSAK, lauched the Loader etc, etc....well so far so good. Everything was there except for Device Analyzer, so I used your link and BAM it was back...Now however, I connected my device again to DM and opened Applications and it told me an update for Device Analyzer was available. After the update the whole DA is gone again!!!>>no where to be found<<............Any thoughts on this one???
