Regarding the battery issue, you say you're charging it every 4 hours is not normal, I strongly suggest either checking out the OS feature called BlackBerry Device Analyzer, then click to Battery Tests, then scroll to Battery draining too quickly that will give you a good indication what is causing the rapid battery drain.
If this continues, then worse case, replacing the battery may be your only solution.
