    Hello jaymisamis,

This isn't the usual traditional downloading way of installing a leaked OS, we all know this, but this really isn't all that hard, just follow my steps below.

When you're done downloading the compressed 178MB WinRar file, extract it to your desktop, open up the file until you see 9900AllLang_v7.1.0.342_P5.1.0.276, select all the files, go to 9900AllLang_v7.1.0.284_P5.1.0.230, paste the entire contents.

*For Windows 7 x32-bit, you can find this in Local Disk (C: ) > Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > Shared > Loader Files > paste in here > 9900AllLang_v7.1.0.284_P5.1.0.230

Return to Desktop Manager 6.1 (stable), or use BBH Tool v2.4.9.5 (like I have) to install this leaked OS7.1.0.342.

If you need any further help, one of our team members will assist you.

Here is my screen shot I just took 30 minutes ago from my BlackBerry Bold 9900, now successfully updated.

    Dear Mr Grim,
I'm downloading the file now.. looking forward to install it..
BTW, can i just use the "loader" file in Apploader folder ?
This is what I usually do whenever updating previous OS.

and, HOW to use BBH tools to install this leaked OS ?

    tx for your help.

    Hello tws992004

You can use the AppLoader.exe and load the OS that way, or just use BBH Tool v2.4.9.5 it's so much easier to install this OS, and you can even custom install (you pick which applications) you choose to include with this OS7.1.0.342.

To use BBH Tool, just be very careful when using this program, it has many features, which can either brick your device, or it could make the BlackBerry Bold 9900 an awesome device when used properly.

    Thank you.

    Red face

    Dear Mr Grim,
    Thank you for your reply.

I have managed to update by BB OS using BBH ... yea..
so far I noticed the response time to keys & loading are faster than .284.

IMPORTANT: SIGNIFICANT RESPONSE TO touchscreen while charging.
during charging period, previous os up to .284, still cause the touchscreen response behave erratically
and inaccurately. I basically could not use the touch screen well until I had to plug it all the time.

This leaked, however, solves the problem!
Hooray... now I can use 9900 even while charging.. cool...

Tx again Mr Grim & Mr Ice !!

    ALL the BEST...

So, after copy and paste, run the bbH tools and choose "launch loader" yes?
Correct, copy and paste the folder's content into OS7.1.0.284, then (Run as administrator-I prefer) the BBH-Tool program, launch the loader, or shrink the OS if you know what you're doing (please don't if you're not sure).

Launch the application loader, and follow the prompts to upgrade OS7.1.0.342

Would a screen shot help you further? Let me know ok

    Thank you
