A new OS has been released by T-Mobile for Bold 9900 users. This update is available via the OTA Software Updates on the phone. Bold users that are not using a leaked OS, simply go to Options > Device > Software Updates in order to be prompted to download and install this new OS. If the update is not there yet, give it a little bit of time as it makes it way to all Bold devices on the T-Mobile network.
That's great news for T-Mobile customers who own a BlackBerry Bold 9900.
If you have attempted to update to official 7.1.0.205 for your Bold 9900, you can imagine at this moment a few hundred owners are hitting their servers pretty hard, so give it time, if you are not able to update.
I have checked the T-Mobile site, and it currently shows 7.0.0.250, but I'm sure that will change later on tonight.

Please I am using an unbranded bold 9900. I live in Nigeria. I want to know if I can upgrade my bb to 7.1 using the upgraded OS from T mobile?
