I've install OS7.1.0.190 on my computer, looked for those lovely vendor.xml file(s), and permanently removed them.

Started up BlackBerry Desktop Manager 7.0, and there it was, update OS7.1.0.190 walaaa

I already started a full backed up took no longer than 5 minutes, finishing up upgrading now as I type this....I'll be back.

    Yup, OS7.1.0.190 is
.....smooth, no lag, browser speed is great, rebooting times is quick, BBM & BB App World works, all my data has been restored, and thumbs up A+ thank you !! ohh yeah I have HotSpot!

What more can a BlackBerry Bold 9900 owner want, when you have all these options at your disposal?

    7.1.0.190 is Great!

So far this OS is excellent.

    Very fast browsing speed

    No sudden battery drops

    Touch screen fully functional

Navigation through menus and so forth is very fast and snappy

    Audio Jack works perfectly

    All keys work (english)

Signal Strength on carrier network seems stronger and more reliable. Wifi connection works well and independant of carrier network, if needed.

All apps from beta zone work and bb app world functions fine.

Apparently hotspot works but I can't find it on my phone so I can't confirm that.

Battery life seems very stable and seems to have good holding power.

Tried .540, .585, .495, .590 and this is my latest and only 7.1 os I've used and it is by far the THE BEST.

    Great change log Nkosistryder
It's really helpful when a user can articulate an upgrade so well that others will benefit from the information.
Especially a leaked OS. Thanks for the information.

Awesome detail Nkosistryder. I entered my engineering code today and found that in this build they added the NFC support modules they removed from the previous build.

i started playing around on it for a bit and found the NFC radio is active and responds to rf. I don't know if any of you are here in the USA as well but none of the carriers here, have a berry with nfc yet. I'm super excited.
