Already did it at the very first time. but DM cannot find the OS (7.1.0.74). that' why I used BBSAK and app loader to install the O.S. Vendor xml already erased, all steps already followed, but still loader cannot detect 7.1.074 (I already shut down my antivirus and firewall).Quote:

For most carriers, you'll need to make sure that Tethering is included.

Hi, u must have 2 important things. 1-DM 6.1 or 7, 2- u must have a vendor.xml with 1kb size.. And the DM or loader will see ur new sw.. Tested on 10 diff pc's .. Enjoy
a few things I noticed, was hoping for NFC on my T-Mobile, have hotspot, phone caller ID lookup,(you have to pay), signal and voice are both good. Battery drain same or better then last leak, hard to tell right now.
Install was problematic, I lost the drivers twice, I had this before on a earlier leak.
What I did was go strait to app loader and load from there. When drivers drop leave usb plugged in, do not close the process, remove battery and put back in. This fixed the issue on mine and was able to complete the process and have my backup restored.
What happens is I lost the drivers and the phone says please install operating system with the code507 or something. This happens after program says erasing current OS, waiting for initionalization, half way through windows says device drive did not install correctly.
I install without wiping and if ever this proves there is no such thing as a clean install! Whether you wipe your phone first or not does not matter as you install a new OS the phone gets wiped anyways,(It's not like Windows installing over another version in place). Sometimes there are 2 vendor.xml files that are being loaded with the OS 7 software. In addition to the one in apploader, check this folder: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerryQuote:

Is the UMA calling work? I know that it doesn't hand off from Wi-Fi over to cell (mine isTMO) network, but it is a minor inconvenience.
