Official: OS 18.104.22.168 for BlackBerry Torch 9850 From Sprint
The wait for OS 7.1 is finally over. Earlier in the day we posted that Sprint users were starting to receive OTA's of the new OS 7.1, but there was no official desktop installer. Sprint has now posted the desktop installer for the Torch 9850 OS 22.214.171.124. So if you have a Torch 9850 get out that USB device and give your device a fresh new OS. As always be sure to let us know your findings/fixings.
Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.
issues with I believe, is the update
What I have noticed so far. I have the Sprint version of the 9850. Me likey. Now.... I use the feature Vlingo to do my texting if my fingers are feeling a bit tired. Well Vlingo won't record my voice anylonger. I uninstalled then re installed. Same issues. So I tried other voice search features. Same thing. I got a message, "voice recorder did not record your voice, please try again." .NEXT.. Bb app world is now freezing.. NEXT...it is taking me entirely to long to send this message because by the time I'm on my forth word, the letters haven't been displayed all the way for the first. I called Sprint, they want me to bring the phone in so they can un install the update till they fix the issues. Reason I think its the update is, no issue did I have untill after it was installed.
