Discuss Official AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9810 OS v7.1.0.694

Well that took forever, but AT&T has finally decided to give its BlackBerry users some 7.1 love. They have approved and released v7.1.0.694 for the Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860. I personally cannot wait to try it out so let us know what you find in these new OS versions below!

I upgraded from 342, and used BBSAK to backup apps. After installation my txt msg didn't work, so I called AT&T and they had to re-register my phone to fix it.
Almost as soon as I had upgraded, I got a msg that I needed to upgrade APP World, which I did, and which warned me that a module that BBSAK uses would be changed. I have not tried BBSAK since, but will update this post with the reults when I do.

What it certainly did do was uninstall all my other apps, so fair warning on that. No noticeble improvements in battery life or performance, but one anamoly I have noticed is when I go to search Contacts to make a phone call, it is automatically in Alt mode, so if I press "D" it displays "5" instead, as if searching for phone number. This can be defeated by pressing alt before each entry, but is a nuisance change as far as I am concerned, even if it says "Find contact or dial a number" in faint lettering in the display box. Not quite enough to move backwards in releases, but close.
