I downloaded dis same OS on crackberry 3days ago...and it gave me touchscreen issues and no network option of 2g and 3g/h+. Is this a different one?

This is a different one bukscreamboi, I'm sure eventually they will realize that link is down for the count anyways.

Ok I'm very grateful...but I want to be sure if the touchscreen issue would be gone and my option to choose 2g or 3g/h+ will be available. The one I downloaded had dat problem, dat made me downgrade back to 7.0. My carrier is AT&T. Thanks for ur kindness. Pls reply

Thank you for your grateful post.

I am sure if all steps are performed when updating to OS7.1.0.342 for your Blackberry Torch 9810, you shouldn't have anymore issues with the touchscreen.

You should be able to choose between 2G/3G/4G (H+) wireless networks, remember it also depends on your wireless mobile carrier if they support 4G (H+) coverage, in AT&T case, I am sure they support 4G.

Can you refresh the CAPTCHA words again, so you can enter a new set of words?

Once you correctly enter it, a pop up with the OS leak will prompt you to download.

I still get d same error and entered the 2 captcha correctly. After enetering the captcha and clicking on d download file option, I get d error page.

Update:

I have re-attempted to download OS7.1.0.342 for the BlackBerry Torch 9810 by entering the correct CAPTCHA words (after the first incorrect try) second time worked.

I think the issue here is you're entering both low and high characters, which is not required (see screen shot).

Then click the Download button, you will receive the new OS7.1.0.342, save the compressed file to your desktop.

I have installed, and run for 3 days, this version on my AT&T 9810, and it seems to run without issues other than battery drain, which both this version and the 258 version changed from as much as 2 days on light usage for battery life with the 2404 bundle version of 7.0 to less than 24 hours. I have added some apps during this time period, including Blackberry Traffic, which will drain a full battery to red in 4 hours (ouch, get out the car adapter, but it works almost as well as my Garmin, less the street view, of course) along with Score Mobile (great little app!) and the AP News app. The AP News app was definitely part of the problem, which I realized after removal, but I may go back briefly to verify that th OS is not having problems as well. And 4G was also clearly sucking juice during a short trip. But functionally, no issues, Thanks!

Glad to hear gemurdock, as everyone should know, 4G will consume more power naturally vs using the 3G wireless network.

That's the price to pay for having faster (downloading) speeds.

On this? The .342 I have doesn't have that option, one of d reasons I downgraded back to 7.0. I learnt at&t doesn't allow one to change on any 7.1 build. I'm curious cos it takes time for me to download, I wouldn't like to download and get nothing.

It doesn't matter what OS build you have for your BlackBerry Torch 9810, you should be able to switch with no issues.

The 7.1.0.342 dat gave me touchscreen freezing issue and no network mode option was downloaded from crackberry..

Here are 4 screen shots I have provided for everyone to show options that your BlackBerry device has under Mobile Network.

Go to Mobile Network > Network Mode, attempt to configure from 2G, 3G & 2G, or 3G/4+ (*H+) *not all BlackBerry devices will have this option.

You can also change your wireless network provider from Automatic or Manual, in case you find yourself roaming (which will incur extra charges from your wireless mobile provider) so in this case, you can manually set your BlackBerry to stay with your current provider vs the BlackBerry device roaming around searching for an available wireless signal.
