    Keyboard problem in German language

After installing the physical keyboard has not the german layout. If you type "y" you get a "z" and verswise.

Beside this problem it runs very good.

Go to Options> Typing and Language > Typing

    Input Language

    Default (English)

The availability of typing style(s) is dependent on the active input language(s).

You need to install the additional language pack(s) to solve the issue you're experiencing above, by using BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

    Hello Tacticoolness,

A leaked OS is not an official release nor supported by RIM or by your mobile carrier but you can still install (at your own risk) and only if you're comfortable with doing so, experimenting with OS beta builds may not be for everyone.

Joe Jerde is the owner of BlackBerryOS.com and the coolest guy you could ever know.

Regarding OS7.1, we have an Official OS7.1.0.428 for your BlackBerry Torch 9810, which I have provided for you below,

Official OS 7.1.0.428 For BlackBerry Torch 9810 From Telstra

By installing this official OS7.1.0.428, you may see several improvements when comparing older OS releases, not to confuse you with "unlocking your BlackBerry", which is a completely different task, than installing an OS.

If you have any further issues or questions, please post below.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tacticoolness,
That would be a good idea in the battery pulls. I can also tell you that it can take 2-4 days for a new OS to get fully seated in and working to its potential. So, go for it and give it a few days to see if it is working to your liking. Who knows, by that time the "official" release might be out. Or maybe an even better release. Sometimes they come fast.
