Just wiped my phone again to fw.540,now to updating it to .583 , let see if this gonna help with the battery.
Downloading file now, I'll post when I'm done with install and reinstalling apps. I hope battery life is better than .261, that would be nice. Lmao @ G!! =))
Battery life got worse for me so I went to .585. I was dropping between 17 and 20% on battery per hour. Let see how .583 does. :) The version that came with device was .261 and when I was on BBM, Twiiter, etc. I never saw it higher than 7 to 9% per hour.
Well .583 wasn't much different than .585 so I went down to .540, which was awesome no issues at all. Then I saw the leaked 7.1 and had to try that. So now I'm running 18.104.22.168 and it's running very nice, the only downfall is I have to pay extra to get HotSpot activated. The OS (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), the extra charges for HotSpot (n)(n)
My Torch 9810 has 22.214.171.1245, and I highly doubt I will upgrade or downgrade it (unless, of course, a far more superior build is released for the Torch 9810).
It's been rock solid stable, not to mention excellent battery life, and audio/video playback is very good.
If anyone download's and installs Official: OS 126.96.36.1993 For BlackBerry Torch 9810 Via AT&T , please post your .583 experiences here on BBOS for other members to compare, and share.
Note: Even though my profile states I currently own a BlackBerry Bold 9900, I also own a BlackBerry Torch 9810.
Thank you very much.
kinda smooth Os but it really drains my battery allot! charged it at 2pm and its dead at 7.31pm gonna restore it to .540 or maybe the .585 again.
My personal experience with the pre-loaded AT&T .261 was that it was great in terms of battery life mostly because u cant consume a lot battery when your phone locks up and freezes every two seconds haha
I don't think battery life is as good on .585 but the lock ups and freezes have pretty much disappeared so I'll gladly trade battery life for that...
My battery suddenly jumps from 92% to 100% while charging. And drops to 92% on standby(after charging) and dats on .583 please how can I go back to the factory OS.(Dat came on the fone as default). Thanks and please when is at&t releasing OS7.1.?
If I may be able to suggest to you, OS188.8.131.522 is already available for Blackberry Torch 9810 owners, posted below.
Leaked: OS 184.108.40.2062 For BlackBerry Torch 9810
Thanks but I've downloaded 220.127.116.112. It gave me touchscreen issues and no option to switch between 2g and 3g/h+.battery was excellent tho'. So I downgraded back to 18.104.22.1683 and dat gave me battery problem said earlier. I use blackberry torch 9810 (at&t). So I'm thinking of downgrading back to its factory OS i.e the OS dat came wit d phone. I think its 22.214.171.1241. Thanks
Have you attempted to change from (Options > Network and Connections > Mobile Network, now configure Network Mode from 2G, 3G/H+ & 2G or 3G/H+ (not all devices will show this).
Even though you say OS126.96.36.1992 still gave you touch screen issues, and no option to switch from 2G to 3G/4G on your BlackBerry Torch 9810, it's hard to understand your claim of no 3G network mode.
Check out our ::bbos:: Official OS for BlackBerry Torch 9810 download area, where you will find all Official OS.
If I may suggest downloading and installing BellMobility_9810_188.8.131.527 which has far more features than OS184.108.40.2061, such as BlackBerry Device Analyzer, and Mobile Hotspot, plus other unnamed updates.
Hope you take my advice to download and install OS220.127.116.117, and reply back to us with your thoughts and opinions.
Wen I downloaded leaked .284 I had touchscreen issues which only when I plug my phone to power, my screen moves well and doesn't freeze and again I can't switch between 2g and 3g/h+ (network mode) the option is not available. I decided to upgrade to .342 wc I downloaded on crackberry. I had d same problem again. I saw on a forum dat at&t will nt allow u to change from 2g to 3g/h+ as u would like to.
So if I should download d bell mobility .267 how am I sure I won't get d same problem cos those two options are very vital to me.
Thanks very much.
