Thread: OS for Orange in the UK

Hi, I have a 9800 with v6.0.0.668
ARe there any updates, the official site says there isn't when i plug it into my PC.
I have issues with the running of my blackberry being really slow. and often when browsing it forces me to close all my tabs (2/3 open).

Any ideas how I can improve this? I have this phone for another year yet - there must be something I can do!

The first thing you will want to do is backup your device. Then start removing applications that you do not use, on the 9800 this helps out a lot. The latest version for the 9800 is 6.0.0.723, and can be found here SKTelecom_9800_6.0.0.723 - Downloads - BlackBerryOS.com . If you really want to narrow it down you can always backup your deice and then backup all of your applications. Then reload the OS without restoring the applications, after that load each application back on until you notice that your phone is starting to slow down. Its a bit tedious but it does help.
